Anita Ludwig was the "Aunti Mame" of agency copywriters. Recruited in the early 90s from Tennessee by Bob Noble, Anita was known for her southern drawl, quick wit, and an ability to get straight to the point. You never wondered where you stood with her. She was highly creative, not just in her work, but in her dress as well. Bright colors, jewelry and a flair for the dramatic made her a Springfield agency favorite. Sadly, Anita's life was cut short by a stroke, but her legacy lives on in many ways. One of which is the Anita Ludwig Award, which recognizes the advertising agency professional who demonstrates honesty, creativity, and, most of all, a passion for great advertising.
