Jane Meyer was a genuine broadcast pioneer and thought to be one of the first female broadcast managers in the United States. She was very involved, not just in media, but in the Springfield community, striving to make it a better place. Each year, the Springfield Advertising Association recognizes nonprofit associations that submit advertising materials or campaigns created in-house that are designed to improve the health, education and/or well being of the community and its citizens.
