Club's Public Service Project Wins on National Level

OHH Takes Third for Club Achievement
www.ozarksharvestinghope.com

Each year the American Advertising Federations hosts a club achievement competition highlighting eight areas of emphasis: advertising education, club operations, communications, diversity & multicultural initiatives, government relations, membership, programs and public service. In the past, club's submitted their entries on a district level, then winning entries travel on to a national competition - much like the ADDY awards. This year though, the district level was eliminated and entries were judged only on the national level.

Many thanks to Eric Ray and Kat Morgan-Gaines and to each board member and committee chair for compiling their information. The narratives and corresponding collaterals are placed into binders for judging. It's truly a labor of love for the club achievement chairs!

We're thrilled to let you know the club's public service project won third place in our size division for Ozarks Harvesting Hope! The entire club should be QUITE proud of this achievement! So many people have helped in countless ways to get this initiative off the ground, and growing (pardon the pun). If you are new to the club, OHH is a part of the national Plant a Row for the Hungry campaign, which encourages gardeners to plant extra and then donate that harvest to a local food bank or pantry.
